Publisher Description
Indiana DNR Officer Beth Morrison returns as terror strikes the community of King County once again. When domestic terrorists release the residents of the Panthera compound, several large predatory cats threaten the population. The incident coincides with opening day of bow hunting season. Several hunters find themselves stranded and stalked as tigers, leopards and lions roam the vast stretches of woods and residential areas.
Working with multiple departments to contain the disaster, Beth finds herself thrown back into the chaos of navigating even more male-dominated agencies. The conservation officer has to again team up with the King County Sheriff's Department. This time, the sheriff and deputies of the adjacent Mason County lead the cooperative task of locating the animals and terminating them.
Staff members of Panthera scramble to find and return as many of their escaped cats as they can before the officers put them down. Beth finds herself caught in the middle of groups with different agendas as they race against the clock and each other to resolve this catastrophe.
More predators. More victims. More danger.
