Whimsical story with imaginative illustrations!
I enjoyed reading Pardon the Abbrev very much. The story has a great rhyme scheme and incredible illustrations. I read it aloud to a few of the more advanced readers in my class (8 yr olds) and they were taken by the fun use of abbreviations in the story. My favorite part of the book is the illustrations. The author is also illustrator and his drawings are inspiring. I hope to share more stories and illustrations by Keane Angle with my students in the near future!
