When the ex- cop Steve Anderson is presented with an opportunity for a job in New York, he accepts it in the hope that his career as a private detective will flourish.

An encounter with Kira Hamilton will break the barriers around his heart and awaken almost forgotten feelings. The woman made him yern for the impossible. Convinced that the best thing to do is to forget her, the detective will devote himself body and soul to his work. But everything gets complicated and Steve will be force to work with the police where he will meet his former collegues.
