Inconsistencies between paper and ebook versions
My review is of the ebook format - not the Haggadah itself (this is the one and only Haggadah I will ever use when leading a Seder).
Hebrew is written right to left instead of left to right and so the paper version of this Haggadah doesn’t match the ebook version as the pages of the physical book are turned the opposite way of the ebook version. I also note that the page numbering doesn’t match: in the paper version the pages with the English text are opposite the pages with the Hebrew text and both the English and Hebrew versions have the same page number. That is not the case with the ebook version, which will make leading my virtual Seder more challenging since some participants will be using paper Haggadah and others will be using the ebook.
Perhaps Apple doesn’t have the ability for pages to be turned the opposite way, but it would be nice if they did.
Disappointing Version
We love the hardcopy version of this Haggadah which I highly recommend. Unfortunately this is a poor example of a digital version that is not an ePub book. It appears to be a scanned copy as it has burry and has unreadable text, and the text is small and cannot be resized so it is difficult to read. The pages transition right to left which is annoying, but could be overcome if it was not so hard to see the text.
I hope the publisher updates to a true ebook with resizable fonts and a long list of others benefits so families can enjoy a digital copy of this Haggadah.
