First published in 1963 and re-released as a Heritage Classic, this book stems from the Faith for Today program, telecast over a lone New York station back in 1950. Many viewers came to view the telecaster, Pastor Fagal, as a personal friend and consequently besieged him with letters for advice on a wide range of human experiences. 

Within these pages are many of the questions asked by viewers, along with counsel given by Pastor Fagal. Pastor Fagal applies an inspired combination of practical Bible truth and what someone has called “sanctified common sense” to help answer questions such as, Why Go to Church? Can God Save a Sinner Like Me? Shall I Get Married? And Should We Keep the Sabbath?
