Pathological High Mood

Pathological High Mood is a selection of 15 drawings from the ongoing series Drawing Account. The series gathers its material from the account balances of the unconscious from the sub levels of the mind, with their abundance of resources. Misplaced body parts, distorted figures, hybrids of people and plants, performing strange activities. However, in this cosmos, a dreamlike implicitness seems to be inherent in all that is deformed and displaced; smooth transitions and moonlight moderate what the grotesque motifs reveal to viewers, normalize the monstrous.
