Publisher Description

"Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them." …So shall your descendants be." Genesis 15:5

"Patriarch" is one story of Abraham's journey of faith from Ur, in the pagan lands of the Chaldeans, to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah on the Plains of Jordan. It is a story of one man's legacy of faith.

"Patriarch" will sweep you from Nimrod's Temple of The Seven Lights of The Earth, in Ur, to the outer reaches of space as God continues His purpose in Abraham's life, to prepare a people for Himself. A people who will live by faith, in God's promise of an eternity in Heaven. Before God can bring His covenant with Abraham to fruition, He must put an end to the rebellion that has torn His Kingdom apart. Join in the quest as a remnant aboard a ship called, "Patriarch" struggle to find a way to save the earth from an ancient prophesy of destruction.

In 2099, as Earth spirals toward moral, political and environmental collapse, the generational ship Patriarch is diverted from its deep-space mining mission to intercept an enormous asteroid on collision course with Earth. It turns out, the asteroid is no ordinary space rock - it is an abandoned alien vessel containing coveted technology beyond current human capability. When Isaac Norton, a devout Christian whose faith is forbidden, takes hold of an alien artifact, he finds himself inexplicably transported to ancient Sodom in its final days.

Following his disappearance, the crew of Patriarch become divided between those who seek to profit from the alien ship, those who seek to save the earth from destruction, and those who would return Patriarch to its original generational mission. To make matters worse, a sentient artificial intelligence deeply integrated into the ship's systems has its own dark agenda.

As Isaac races to prevent history from repeating itself, he must reconcile his faith with forces that challenge everything humanity thinks it knows about creation, salvation, and mankind's place in the universe. The fate of humanity and of the earth itself hangs in the balance as past and future collide in a story that explores the timeless themes of redemption and the consequences of sin and human hubris.
