Excellent read
Clark brings a human element to the battle of Stalingrad, brings the reader in with three human stories that personalize the story of the brutal siege. It is clear that the author did a lot of research to accurately portray the battle down to the characteristics of each weapon and piece of equipment. The story kept me entertained the entire way through and it kept me turning the pages. I recommend this book to anyone interested in WWII history, the battle of Stalingrad or a thrilling story of survival against all odds.
