Well written book
This is a well written book. I enjoyed the plot, the characters and the development of both. I recommend this book highly. I am purchasing the second book in this trilogy which I feel is a bargain for its price!
This book was a great read!
For aficionados of syfy books and movies, this book was a fast story. This book was so good that, in my estimation, it would make a great futuristic action movie. I was able to visualize the entire story. I can't wait to get into part 2 of the trilogy.
A great military-minded read
Nobility, sacrifice, brotherhood, hope... I can only surmise that Mr. Hawk has had some first-person relationship with the military, and can only further surmise that such exposure was in some form of ground forces. Regardless of whether he has, Peace Warrior reads like Ringo's The Last Centurion, with a voice of authenticity that feels both genuine and a little raw. The reader can see what the character sees, feel what he feels, and believe me, there are cringe-worthy parts of this story that will almost hurt, they're so evocative. The story will grab you by the collar and shove you into the seat before locking you in for a thrilling ride. Highly recommended for sci-fi and military fiction fans!
