This book can revolutionize your parent/child relationship
I am so glad that I found Dr. Markham’s books. Her approach makes sense and tackles the real issue-what parents are doing wrong that their children are reflecting. If you are a struggling parent you should read this right away! This is a ten-star book, and I can’t recommend it enough.
Faulty electronic version missing chunks
Loving the ideas and theory behind this book so far but there is a problem with the electronic version. It skips from page 31 to page 54
Worth reading
I have already found this book helpful even before I finished reading it. I can see a dramatic difference in my child already. I only gave it four stars instead of five, because I wish there had been more detail on implanting these ideas. I'd have liked more scenarios and most of all more information on dealing with kids around age 8 or 9. This is a great read though, and I'm so glad I found it! Definitely, a great way to get started on changing your parenting to a more empathetic style.
