Publisher Description
Meet the Kincade brothers: they’ll do what it takes to protect their legacy—but what happens when love gets in the way?
Declan Kincade has spent so much time chasing success he’s almost forgotten how to just live. Lately, though, his all-business routine has been thrown into disarray. Brooke Hastings is the best employee Dec’s ever had: polished, capable, and intelligent. After four years, he’s just realized that she’s also smoking hot. But their working relationship is too valuable to stake on a fling, no matter how mind-bendingly pleasurable it promises to be . . .
What’s worse than never meeting the right man? Finding him, and then working side-by-side every day while he remains absolutely blind to your existence. That is, until one temptation-packed road trip changes everything. Teaching her gorgeous, driven boss how to cut loose and have fun is the toughest challenge Brooke’s ever faced. But it’s one that could give both of them exactly what they need, if Dec will take a chance on a perfect—and perfectly unexpected—love . . .
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
In Terry's sweet, seductive second Sunshine Creek Vineyard novel (after A Better Man), a longtime smoldering attraction bursts into flames. Famously uptight financial executive Declan Kincade has always been intellectually aware that his extremely capable assistant, Brooke Hastings, is gorgeous, but ever since his brother referred to Brooke as "hot as hell," Declan's been feeling lust for her that even he can't control. Brooke's been longing for Declan for years, so she's thrilled to see him finally showing some signs of interest. When he needs to travel from L.A. to Vancouver to take care of family business, she talks him into a shared 15-hour drive up the coast in a red convertible. Declan tries to keep things professional, but his repression and anxiety are no match for Brooke's determination and effervescence, and readers will cheer her on as Declan's rambunctious siblings do as she breaks out of her peacemaker persona to demand passion without compromise. Terry successfully links her novels without compromising their individuality, and readers can easily start the series here. Endearing, outspoken, quick-witted characters highlight this alluring, well-paced tale.)

Let Loose
What a cute story top start with from this author, is not the first book of the series and although I'd like to read book one it's not required before reading this one. I'm sure there is background information that'll be in book one that isn't known by reading book two fiery, but each story in the Sunshine Creek Vineyard series is it's own standalone about one of the Kincade siblings. From the first page on i couldn't help buy smile, two characters that so badly want each other but yet are afraid the other doesn't. Teen add in the boys/employee factor and you have what could be a major me in the making! To find out how these two work through their issues you'll have to read PERFECT FOR YOU, but I agree it's a perfect match with a HEA! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book via Tasty Book Tours for an honest blog tour review. Due to sexual situations, this book is recommended for readers 17 and older!
Each book I’ve read from her is better than the last
Have I mentioned how much I love Candis Terry’s ability to bring readers into a family and keep them there – cheering, nudging, crying and even whacking them occasionally when needed? Each book I’ve read from her is better than the last, each allows the characters to grow, develop and take chances, changing in all the good ways on their path to a happy ending.
Declan is just who you’d want as an employee – he’s a perfectionist, willing to get his hands dirty and work harder to make his every endeavor successful. Wound so tightly you expect pieces to come flying off in all directions at any time – but it works for him. Well, it was working for him until he looked up one day and noticed Brooke. Really noticed Brooke.
Brooke has slowly and consistently been the best employee Dylan ever had, too bad he’s never noticed her, at least not in the way she wants him too. He’s a little uptight, and she knows he needs to learn to relax more often. She’s always on the lookout to make him smile, the years of being ignored didn’t diminish any of her wishful thinking where he’s concerned. He just doesn’t notice her. Yet.
The unexpected death of his parents means Declan has to head to the family vineyard, and his need to have someone who can organize him and keep his stress levels down somewhat, means that he’s offered Brooke a change of scenery while they work. Close quarters, no space to cool off and regroup, these two had such a great working relationship, it was fun to see Terry throw them into the mix of new situations, close quarters and ongoing questions regarding the family, the vineyard and his parents’ deaths. When you add in Declan’s growing realization of Brooke’s many talents and charms, the sexual tension amps up their interactions as the story takes flight.
Slowly Brooke reveals her own history, never taking her eye from her real desire: Declan. While he did have some moments where he needed to be smacked – Brooke’s unwillingness to allow him to retreat and run away to a safe place, and put his walls back up added plenty to the back and forth, and showed Brooke’s steadiness and always there to Declan, who actually needed that reassurance in his life, especially with the questions brought forward in the first book, and added, asked and answered in this one. A lovely addition to this series, I can’t wait for the next.
