An unlikely couple is brought together by circumstances that defy all reason in this timeless romance in the Harrigan Family series from New York Times bestselling author Catherine Anderson.
Tragedy has struck the Harrigans—Quincy’s beloved sister-in-law Loni is gravely ill and nearing death. Quincy, like his brothers, feels helpless to save her, and the clock is ticking. Then, with perfect timing, a winsome red-haired woman named Ceara O’Ceallaigh mysteriously appears on Quincy’s property and insists that Loni can be cured. Only Quincy, she says, as the sole remaining Harrigan bachelor, can make it happen—by marrying Ceara.
To Quincy, Ceara is a charming and quite likely deranged spinner of dreams who can’t prove she’s telling the truth. But how can he pass up any attempt to restore Loni to health? Against all better judgment, he decides to marry Ceara. Maybe he’s making the worst mistake of his life. Or maybe he’s opening himself up to possibilities that will send him on a miraculous journey toward enough love to last forever.
Anderson's fourth Harrigan Family romance (after Here to Stay) adds a supernatural twist to the sweet contemporary. Ceara O'Ceallaigh, a druid from 1574, travels forward in time to end an ancient curse on the Harrigan clan. A virgin daughter of the O'Ceallaigh family must marry a Harrigan male or the first wife of every Harrigan will die of some blood-related ailment. Quincy Harrigan's mother hemorrhaged to death during childbirth, and now his sister-in-law is dying of leukemia. At first he thinks Ceara is a mental case, but soon he realizes her story's legitimate. Hesitantly, they wed and consummate the marriage, and the curse is broken. But how can he live with a beautiful druid who can start a fire or change the weather with a flap of her hand? Anderson's light touch with humor shines through, as Ceara adjusts to 21st-century life. New readers will find it easy to catch up with established characters; returning readers will be enchanted.

I found this book very hard to really get into. Surprising for a book by Catherine Anderson. It took several tries for me to get interested but when I did I couldn't stop reading. Really good story and so different.
outdone herself again
Catherine Anderson has outdone herself again with this amazingly funny, exciting, romantic book. I laughed, I cried, I couldn't put it down until I was all the way to the end. I am so thankful that I was picked to be on the review team and that I got an advance copy. I would recommend this book to anyone looking to start a great adventure with the Harrigan family.
I love the whole Coulter/Harrigan series. This one was a little harder to get into (I'm not usually into paranormal & time travel), but once I got past that issue I really enjoyed this book. I found it to be funny & emotional.
