Series Finale
This is the fifth (and final) book in the Canyon Cove series. It is a standalone and does not end in a cliffhanger. Hot and steamy sex so definitely 18+.
The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that info here. The author describes the characters, the settings, and relationships so you can easily catch up even if you haven't read the first four books. Gabriel and Becca have been close friends for a long time. Will they decide to take the chance on being more than friends? The author does a good job detailing the emotional struggle they both go through as they each wrestle with that question.
I have enjoyed this series and am sad it is over. Though a few of my favorite characters, like Navarro, will be featured in their own upcoming books. Can't wait to read their stories!

A hot sweet summer read with lots of emotions

Conclusion:
I think what I loved most about this book, is how the characters realize that they need to make some changes in their lives in order to be happy. It's a life lesson realizing that change start with yourself, and it was beautifully written in this story. Gideon and Becca story are sweet, funny, full of drama and has a little added sass and spice. I would pair this story with a hot rum toddy on a cold night, since the story itself runs down smooth and spice like good rum. I loved the story and would warmly recommend it.
Quick fun read!
This is the second book in the Canyon Cove Series that I have read. This book will leave you wanting to read more by this author. Becca and Gideon are perfect together!
