Performance
Although many reviews call a novel a "page turner", this one truly is. It has been a little while since the last writing by Ms Grace, but this was well worth waiting for. As in her previous writings, the story is easy reading, moves along quickly and does not have too many characters to keep track of. Makes it more enjoyable for us older readers. The story is compelling with an ending that I was sure I had figured out. As usual, I was wrong, and the bad folks came out of left field. Kate and the whole team are working extra hard on this case but are eventually rewarded for all their efforts. Kate's private life takes an unusual turn as her relationship with her live-in partner explores a new adventure. Very unexpected. Another great read by a great author. Thank you Ms Grace and congratulations for another winner and please keep on writing. KATO II
