Crime in Tinsel Pine
One of my favorite series is the Sweetfern Harbor by Wendy Meadows so I was anxious to read a new series of hers. Usually when I start a new series, especially from an author I've enjoyed reading in the past, I'm not at all wishy-washy about it, however, I'm not really sure how I feel about this book. I like the main protagonist, Carol, and the small town of Tinsel Pine sounds charming but there are other characters I didn't care for and, honestly, rubbed me the wrong way right from the start. I will continue to read this series in the hopes that it grows on me and because I like Wendy Meadows so much.
