Publisher Description
This reference book allows readers to gain exposure to peripheral nerve blocks with and without ultrasound guidance in an interactive way. The text is robust with concise information on many aspects of blocks, block safety and effectiveness, vascular access, placement and management of peri-neural catheters and diagnosis of pneumothorax by ultrasound. Massive increases in POCUS have also been updated. Each procedure comprises it’s own chapter, so specific, illustrated information is at your finger tips without the need for internet connection- making it well suited for isolated or austere applications. The anatomy illustrations, procedure videos and explanations will come to life using the magic of this platform. And it will serve you long after paper texts- using digital information. It is simply the next generation of regional/ultrasound anesthesia reference texts. It’s time to expect more from a textbook, and this one delivers.

Customer Reviews
Covers more than blocks
The original book only covered basic blocks, but with regular updates, the book is covering bedside imaging to improve safety in formulating an anesthetic plan. Videos are available through out the book.

Easy to read and excellent reference for those new to blocks or just enthusiasts of regional and POCUS. Doesn’t bog you down with excessive citations in the reading. Good images to help understand anatomy and sonoanatomy.
