A collaborative work between prominent New York University Vascular Surgeon Mark Adelman, MD, and Chief of Radiology, Advanced Imaging Research Division at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Neil Rofsky, MD, the aim of this book is to increase the referring physician’s ability to understand and classify the pathophysiology and treatment of peripheral arterial occlusive disease, gain an appreciation of the imaging criteria useful to the treating vascular surgeon, including film presentation variables that allow clinical care of the vascular surgical patient, and to cultivate a team approach towards care of patients with peripheral arterial occlusive disease.
