Persuading Cynicism

Dr. John James ran. As far and as fast as he could. Unfortunately for him, the woman he was running from ended up right back in his life, working as his own, dedicated nurse. 
Fain didn't want switch doctors but in order to help a friend in desperate need she found herself agreeing to transfer to the Ranch and become John's nurse. As a Nordic, Fain knew that John was her soulmate. She also knew that after John's ex-wife abused his trust the way she did that John was not willing to trust another woman in his life. Thusly, she shoved her pain down and did what she could to leave the poor doctor in peace.
Now that they were stuck working together, John realized that the feelings he was running from could no longer be denied. Especially after he found himself inadvertently married and raising two small children with the delicately beautiful Fain. His beauty showed herself to be everything he ever prayed for and more.
