Several years ago, Anne Elliot is persuaded to break up her engagement to Captain Wentworth, due to his lack of wealth and social standing. Now, Captain Wentworth is a wealthy and eligible bachelor, and Anne, at twenty seven, is past her prime. They meet again but will Anne get a second chance at love and marriage?
