Peterson's art, conveying each bird's essence, and the innovative Peterson Identification System, are all at the casual bird watcher's disposal. 460 species are in this visual treasure chest. Arrows point to the key field marks that distinguish each species, and range maps tell users where and when to find the birds. Book Won't Load on IPad
This book won't load beyond a few pages on my iPad. It seems not well adapted to digital technology, missing opportunities for links to audio bird songs, for example, or the ability to pull up subsets such as 'birds of Florida'.
This book doesn't work.
Most pages don't load and often crashes the iBook app. It's too bad because the content is obviously worth the money.
Petersons Field Guide, Fl
Very poor iPad book application. Not user-friendly. Page turning is spastic at best. Attempted turning often resulted in totally leaving the iBooks application!
The content is probably excellent, but the implementation is useless.
