Petunia Loves Bananas

Petunia is an excited young pup that wears a bow in her hair. Mondays are her very favorite days. Not only are they the start to a new, wonderful week, but Monday is the day Petunia gets to go to the grocery store and find her favorite food: bananas. She and her owner set off and walk to their destination, and along the way, Petunia is not to be distracted.

She passes her friends on the street and says hello, but she doesn’t linger to chat. Her friends understand, because everyone knows Petunia loves bananas. The closer she gets to the grocery, the more excited she becomes, until her tail is wagging and she’s even pulling on her leash. Petunia just can’t slow down!

Finally, inside the grocery store, Petunia and her owner head to the best part of the shop: the fruit aisle. Potatoes, tomatoes—she’ll have none of these. No, Petunia wants bananas! Only when she gets a nibble of her tasty treat does Petunia calm down. Her day is complete, filled with friends, fun, and fresh fruit.
