Phanart - Phish Site's Book
This is a must own for any head. I wanted the hard copy but this was the only one available bc it's a great coffee table book but hell. If ur buying this. Chances are u are on Spring Summer or fall tours and you got the best reading material now. Sickest pics. Everything is laid out perfectly.
Phanart - An amazing journey through the history of fan created art!
Phanart is collection of posters, pins, shirts, and stickers, and the like, all created by the fans of Phish for sale in the lot. I can't help but get a little nostalgiac every time I look through it, seeing and reading about some of the the things I have personally brought home from Phish shows.
A true labor of love by Mason, who spent countless hours compiling this 420+ page historical accounting of art (all net profits benefit Phish's charity, the Mockingbird Foundation), Phanart includes photo after photo of fan created art that spans from the the humble beginnings of early Phish and takes you on a 21 year journey. In addition, there are a number of great invterviews from guest writers and Mason himself, as well as artist profiles from artists featured in the book.
Previously , Phanart had only been available in hard copy, so I'm excited to see it now available digitally - a great thing to have on your iphone when you're saying "hey, who did that t-shirt back in 1999?"
Phanart is a definite must-have! :)
