As a professional Finder and a Spirit Speaker, who can see, speak to, and channel the dead, Orion Labauve walks a fine line between control and chaos. This time, however, organized and enraged spirits are not the usual scattered souls seeking closure that he has encountered in the past.

A crime lord stripped of voodoo protection and desperate for revenge hires another Spirit Speaker to haunt Orion to death. Hundreds of ghosts, a demon sealed in a Witching Crystal, and a half-million-dollar bounty set a ticking time bomb. The town of Madreville becomes ground zero for a war between ghosts, demons, and ordinary people.

To stop the ghostly uprising, Orion must perform the most perilous act of his life. The physical and psychological cost could destroy him. If he fails, the dead will remain unbound—and the town will fall.
