Philippians

Today more than ever before, joy seems to be decreasing, so many things seem to be chipping away our joy. We are told to "rejoice in the Lord always," but when the weight of the world seems to be crushing us, it is hard to rejoice. Throughout this four-week, small group study, Joy will be the focal point as we go through this fantastic book and learn about Joy from a man who had Joy in the Lord in the most challenging times. Paul wrote the letter of Philippians while in prison, and he still had Joy, and so can we. This study is designed to go along with a four-part video series that can be found on YouTube, called Philippians: Joy in all Circumstances, on the DS Ministries Youtube channel. These videos are designed to be viewed as a small group and should be watched before discussing the week's lesson. There are also daily devotionals to dive deeper into Philippians.
