Photographing in Great Smoky Mountains National Park

A simple guide to taking photos in America's most visited National Park: the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina. Locations are grouped by season, with a short write up for each spot and suggestions on when to go, what to bring, and how to get there. Photos include GPS coordinates and basic EXIF info to help you recreate the same shot, or hopefully get to the same place and take an even better photo! The initial publication includes eighteen locations throughout the 522,419 acre Park, with more to come in future updates. All you need is your camera, an iPad or Mac, and time to get out and explore these photogenic mountains.
