Poorly executed
The text of the book has carriage returns set where the line endings of the print version existed. Therefore, no matter what font size you set, you are going to experience goofy paragraphs. Bottom line, this publication fails at a technical level before I can even begin to evaluate the quality of the content. Don't waste your money! (Unless you enjoy poor a user experience -- in which case you probably are a Kindle user, not an iPad owner.)

Save yourself the $10 and just visit php.net and download the manual with comments in PDF form.
I cannot believe someone is trying to sell this and also shame on apple for letting something as ridiculous as this into the book store.
