Pick Your Moment

The story, Pick Your Moment, introduces the skill of social awareness, as Hugo and the Ant Patrol battle their way through a raging storm in search of safety. Hugo has difficulty reading the situation and gets himself into a spot of trouble.  Unable to put the pieces of the social picture together, he appears to lack consideration for his friend’s feelings. But all is not lost! With the help of Hoppy, the wise and helpful ant, Hugo learns how to tune in to others.  In this story, children learn about the importance of attending to social clues in guiding successful social interactions.
