This is the adventure of Pickworth,a little wooden bird.  He thinks his life is dull, living as he does on a shelf in a furniture shop.  The penguins next to him never want to chat with him, only with each other.  How he wished he could see something interesting, and wouldn't it be nice to have the chance to speak to Penny, that nice little bird at the other end of the shelf...
