Customer Reviews
Surprisingly good.
Seriously, it is quite good. Even though I had very low expectations going into this short story I found myself enjoying it immensely. The work is essentially a love song for Tokyo. In a very short space the author captures the excitement, loneliness, frenzy, and melancholy that that wonderful city embodies and imparts to it's inhabitants, even those there for only a short while. Make no mistake, this isn't going to win the author the Nobel Prize, but for those who have loved and love Tokyo, your time will be better spent reading this than watching Lost in Translation again.
