Beginning in 1620 and ending in 1956, Pierre’s Song details the lives of various generations of Beauprés as they arrived in New France, started boat building and hotel businesses, and grew their family to an impressive size. The book examines how the lives of the Beauprés fit within the broader histories of New France, Quebec, Upper Canada, and Ontario, including twenty-five years of Beaupré family research by Marie, and materials from the Beaupré private collection.
