Where Technology Leaders Evolve

Makia Mogielski and Others

Publisher Description

Pinch Elementary has spent the last five years fulfilling the vision of placing an iPad in the hands of each and every student. We became the first elementary school in Kanawha County to offer a 1:1 iPad education. Professional development focuses on infusing technology into instruction, and completely transforming the curriculum to emphasize personalized learning. We are proud to say that 100% of our classroom teachers are recognized as Apple Teachers. Our teachers serve as a support system within the building, and district, to encourage growth and sustainability of our goal to integrate technology into learning. At Pinch Elementary, we focus on the importance of student leadership, continuous innovation, and commitment to excellence. We believe the only way to prepare students for the future is to meet their individual needs, and use their personal strengths to encourage greatness within. We see our students as future leaders of an ever-changing society, and it is our responsibility to prepare them with the ability to successfully confront real-world experiences head on.
