The hugely successful Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, starring the Johnny Depp, proved undoubtedly that swashbuckling sells. But what do we know about the real Captain Jack Sparrows of yesteryear? Who were they? Where did they come from? And what heinous and daring acts did they perform on the path towards riches and infamy? Pirates and Privateers delves into the real lives of these men and women, whose seafaring adventures have become legendary. I loved it
So many people only watch the movies and don’t read all the books on the history of pirates. Most of the time, the books are better than the movie or film, but they are definitely tied. I doubt that half of the percentage of the fans of Pirates of The Caribbean know this much. They don’t. Because there isn’t enough information to know that much about the characters with out knowing their pasts. Also read The Price Or Freedom. Loved that one too. I’ve read all the history on Pirates and I’m twelve. Five years ago I got all of the knowledge about everything and keep reading the books. I’ll own them one day! Another one you all might want to read is Treasure Island. I love Pirates even though the ones that are really out there aren’t Disney Pirates. Love the movies and books!
Absolutely loved it
Came in with a very limited knowledge of pirates and the age. I came out totally fascinated with wanting to know more. There was a ton of info about a slew of legends and a lot about some you never knew. Loved it.
