Disappointed.
Another self hating female character, whom only trips in front of handsome men. The only mention of the terrain is when she suddenly trips on a rock. Usually right after speaking her mind.
Instant karma plagues this woman after every instance of her trying to stand up for herself. Like the writer is punishing her for daring to talk back to a man.
Tolerates and even encourages creepy men in her life and their casual sexualizing, hitting on her even though they are supposed to be ‘family’.
Is gullible and yet feisty, innocent yet worldly when the moment suits her.
The Mc is constantly putting herself down.
Entertaining enough for 4$. Three stars because it takes a lot of work to write and publish a book and even though it’s not my cup of tea it could be someone’s.
