A down with love interior designer finds forbidden romance with her boss when she's hired to work behind the scenes of a hit TV show.
Bailey Meredith has no interest in fame, fortune, or happily ever afters. But she finds herself on the path to all three when she's unwittingly hired to work as a design assistant on a home improvement TV show. And she quickly discovers that what happens when the cameras are off is far more interesting than anything that ever makes it on the TV screen.
Especially her boss, Wilder Aldrich, the star of the show.
Even if she didn't buy into true love and fairy tales, getting involved with him would be a mistake. Yet as Bailey and Wilder find themselves working together in close quarters it gets harder to ignore the spark between them. Will that spark grow into something lasting, or will it leave a path of destruction?
PLAYING HOUSE is a moderately steamy contemporary romance with a guaranteed happily ever after.
Playing House… What an exceptional name for this story!! For my first story by Laura Chapman this was a cute story. I loved the playfulness between the characters as their relationships built throughout the story. It’s not always pretty or easy, but when love sparks there isn’t any stopping it!!! I look forward to reading more books by Laura Chapman, more of this story-line could be a great series too. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book via Tasty Book Tours for an honest blog tour review. Due to sexual situations, this book is recommended for readers 16 and older.
