Wonderful insta-love Brill story
We get to meet Madeline and Boone. First, Boone is released from prison. He was wrongly convicted and now has been taken away from his home for the last 5 years. His mother died while he was on the inside. He comes home, and it’s a total mess. His father is deeply depressed and grieving still for his wife.
Then we meet Madeline, a waitress at the diner. She needs love.
Boone and Maddy had great chemistry. There’s a lot of emotional vulnerability in this book. I highly recommend it.
