Publisher Description

Christina Georgina Rossetti (5 Dec 1830 – 29 Dec 1894) was an English poet, who mainly authored poem of devotional, juvenile or romantic content. Popularity she achieved during her career was not somewhat extraordinary, but it remained strong even after her death and up to date, despite it was reduced in wake of XX century modernism. Rossetti’s works influenced writings of such authors as Virginia Woolf, Philip Larkin, Ford Madox Ford and others. For the feministic movement she became a symbol of female genius, sadly constrained. Among Rossetti’s most notable works are In the Bleak Midwinter, Goblin Market and Remember.

Poems is a collection of verses by Christina G. Rossetti. Her poetry can be romantic, can be for kids and for grown-ups, sad and funny, sweet and bitter, B\but always delightful and masterly written in juicy distinct language. Read and you won’t regret a single page!
