Christina Georgina Rossetti (5 Dec 1830 – 29 Dec 1894) was an English poet, who mainly authored poem of devotional, juvenile or romantic content. Popularity she achieved during her career was not somewhat extraordinary, but it remained strong even after her death and up to date, despite it was reduced in wake of XX century modernism. Among Rossetti’s most notable works are In the Bleak Midwinter, Goblin Market and Remember.
