Polly and the Hydra
Polly and the Hydra is about overcoming loneliness by reclaiming the gift of imagination. The engaging illustrations of Polly’s limitless creativity capture the reader from the very start. The untimely passing of her dear father brings not only sadness and depression (depicted by a “starving colorless” fox) but also a loss of the inventiveness Polly had shared with her parent. A winsome six-headed creature helps Polly recover her inspiration by encouraging her to hold onto the fond memories and retell the meaningful stories. This is a lovely book that will hold the attention and bring a smile and meaning to seekers of all ages.

Polly and the Hydra
Although written for children, this is a wonderful, touching story for anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one . The story is charming, yet touches a deep nerve, while the illustrations are absolutely lovely.
