Poppy The Purple Turtle

Reading this book aloud to my eight month old, I thoroughly enjoyed the book up until the last line. I spoke the inflection at the wrong time and very sarcastically said at least you aren’t purple. That wasn’t a win….

This story is horribly written. Reading it is like driving down a bumpy road at 50 miles per hour. It's very uncomfortable and you wish you had stayed home.

This book is not very well written, especially for little kids. The choice of words and flow is very cumbersome. The theme is good but the execution is sloppy.
