great sequel
This is a great sequel in the series. Love the characters, the quirky adventure plot, and I can hardly wait for the next one!
Love is the best magic
Portals and Puppy Dogs by Amy Lane was given to me in exchange for an honest review. I loved this book in its fluffiness and love throughout. As a continuation from the first book, Shortbread and Shadows Alex and the rest of the Coven are still trying to get their friends back from other pockets of time they are stuck in.Simon, Alex’s boss, finally has gotten brave enough to ask Alex out on a date. It was awkward but Alex was glad he made the effort and wanted more. As they navigate falling more in love and trying to right the wrong they find Simon can also contribute to the coven even if he doesn’t have any witchiness in him he does have the best magic available love.
Cute but short! I want more :)
Alex and Simon are cute together. I ❤️ awkward adorableness. The book takes place over only a couple weeks, so their romance is very short and new still at the end of the book. I left wanting more and I hope we get it as the rest of the club finds their match!
Portals and Puppy Dogs is the adorable second chapter of the Hedge witches Lonely Hearts Club series. It could be read alone but you are dropped right back into the action so I would read them together.
