Portraits

In this collection of Black & White and Color Images were photographed between 1969 and 1983. In the early years I didn't own a camera.  Normally I would check out a camera from the school I was attending. (Orange Coast Jr. College)  Eventually I bought a 2 1/4 twin lens Yashica Mat-124 G for $75.00. I still have this camera today sitting on a shelf. In 1975 I bought a 2 1/4 Hasselblad, which I used until it was stolen around 1983. I photographed all things in my environment, during this period of time.  Most people images were friends or folks I was around some in passing and some throughout my life.  Most of the scenics I spent time looking and thinking about the location before photographing. This technique was taught by my first photography teacher John Upton a student of Minor White.
