In “Posing like a Pro” you will learn to design poses that flatter your model and your client. You will understand the importance of animating the model’s body and why it is critical to the success of your storytelling. Being a professional photographer means being able to create memorable images continuously and on the spot. You will be able to flow through poses, without your client looking stiff or unnatural and without your mind ever going blank.

In this book Sandy Dee will tell you all her tricks and how she accentuates her subject’s best features whilst integrating location and lighting. She explains the importance of establishing good communication with your clients and her little assignments will help you practice your photography actively. This book is way more than just a “place the feet like this” guide. It will offer you inspiration, how to deal with criticism and how to develop your photography skills. All these techniques are needed to create better portraits and achieve bigger sales.

    Excellent and Informative!

I’ve always been interested in photography and more so how some seem to be so photogenic and others, like me, not so much. I knew that posing had a lot to do with it but after reading this, I didn’t realize how much it helps. This book has so much information, especially the author’s own experiences. She includes many useful tips that she has gathered on her own to help her readers as much as possible. As with the pictures, it’s visually appealing. This helped me understand the concepts that were portrayed better and only added to my enjoyment of learning from this book. For anyone that has been curious about photography and wants to improve their skills, I highly recommend this!
