When her best friend convinces Amelia Wethers to participate in a séance, the newly minted psychic, barista and artist is forced to add possessed to her repertoire. Now, instead of seeing a ghost pleading with her to find her murdered body, Ami is sharing her body with the very hungry ghost of Henrietta Bathers, a Hillside resident who mysteriously disappeared over eighty years ago.

While Henrietta seems determined to eat her way through town and embrace all the human pleasures and discoveries she missed, Ami and her friends, and family, including her new detective boyfriend, investigate Henrietta’s life and last steps. They hope that by finding justice for Henrietta and reuniting her earthbound spirit with her family, the possession will end.

Adding to the chaos, her boyfriend’s parents unexpectedly arrive in town, making acting “normal” an even a bigger reach for free spirited Ami. And that’s before another ghost—this one vengeful—appears, threatening the living and dead.
