Power Fade

Professional golfer Roy Gilbert wakes, dazed and defenseless, in the mangrove swamp of the Everglades. Across the bay hangs the wreckage of the small Cessna his friend John piloted on their sightseeing trip that afternoon. Roy has no memory of the crash, and John is nowhere to be found.

Roy does remember the intimidating chopper pilot he and John encountered at the airport prior to their flight. When that same helicopter appears over the wreckage, Roy hides in the trees. Thus begins a three-day chase through the Everglades.

With the help of research biologist Crystal McNair, the head of security for the tour, and Special Agent Brockman of the FBI, Roy identifies a list of dangerous, drug-related suspects in John's disappearance. Balancing his search for answers with his commitments to tournament golf, Roy narrowly escapes further attempts on his life as the tour moves from Miami to Orlando.
