Strategy heavy
This book gives many examples of what you can do to prevent a hostile environment to take root in your classroom. I didn’t give it 5 stars only because some of the strategies seem unattainable for me as an elementary teacher; however I will acknowledge that because my experience is limited to lower grades I’m not sure if the upper grade teachers would disagree. It may be attainable to do such strategies, I don’t know. Bottom line this is an easy read that gives a lot of examples on what to do and what to avoid in education. In simple terms I suppose this book teachers you how to be a teacher with a customer service point of view.
