Practice Room 7

"Only one of us debuts."

Eighteen-year-old Sakurai Ren arrives in Seoul with a suitcase, carefully rehearsed Korean and the belief that talent will be enough. Inside a struggling entertainment company, fourteen trainees are working towards a future that cannot hold them all.

Then he meets Min-jae.

Disciplined, guarded and already worn down by years of training, Min-jae knows what it costs to stay. He also knows exactly how dangerous Ren is: a gifted dancer with the effortless presence the cameras love. Ren should be someone to watch, someone to beat.

Instead, he becomes someone Min-jae cannot stop looking after.

Between punishing evaluations and late-night rehearsals, their rivalry begins to change. Food quietly shared. Silences that grow comfortable. The unsettling relief of being understood by the person who could take your place.

In Practice Room Seven, they allow themselves to want something beyond the stage.

But the debut decision is approaching, and their feelings have no place in the futures being planned for them. As competition sharpens and the distance between private desire and public expectation becomes harder to survive, Ren and Min-jae must confront what success will ask them to surrender.

They have spent years learning how to stand in front of an audience. Neither has learned how to let the other go.

Practice Room Seven is a lyrical, slow-burn romance about rival K-pop trainees, first love, ambition and the cost of being seen.
