Danger at every turn of the wagon wheel!

When Sam takes a dead outlaw to Waco to collect the bounty, he finds the man had friends there. And they want vengeance for his killing. They aren't going to listen to reason. He has to shoot his way out of trouble. Even then, Waco isn't a healthy to stay.
When he meets a very charming lady in need, against his better judgment, Sam lets her convince him to lead a small group of wagons from Waco to Midland. Slow-moving wagons make homesteaders prime targets for all sorts of predators and the Texas prairie is home to all forms of predators. This territory has suffered a spate of attacks rumored to be by Indians. Whoever is attacking them, they leave behind only burning wagons, raped and tortured settlers, and scalped bodies.
Who could resist?
And so, Sam rides out of the Waco firing line and right into a roaring prairie fire!
