Filled with easy-to-follow advice and biblically sound suggestions, Praying for Your Children gives parents and those who love children the tools to make an eternal difference in their lives.

Authors Dr. Elmer Towns and Dr. Dave Earley share how and what to pray to bring your children closer to God. Defined are the roles and responsibilities of parents in raising children who learn to rely on God for their strength and power to be victorious in any situation.

Stressing the importance of starting early, actual prayers are shared that children can memorize. Biblical parents and their prayers are also highlighted, providing excellent examples of how praying for children pleases God to answer.

You don't have to be a great spiritual prayer warrior for God to answer your prayers for your children. The secret is God. You don't get great answers because you're more spiritual than others, or because you've prayed longer or better. The secret is God! The simplest prayer launched with the simplest faith can set the wheels of Heaven in motion.

Trust Him to do great things for your children.

Good but not really for me!

Ij don’t think I was really the target audience for this book. This book is geared toward new or young parents or parents who are still raising their children at home. That is not me or my wife. We are empty nesters. Our daughter is grown and children of her own who are young. She would be more of the audience for this book.

We, my wife and I, do pray for our daughter and grandson, but we were looking more for a book about how to pray for their salvation, their needs and for them to come home as our daughter has very little to do with us and our grandson just barely knows who we are.

I gave this book three stars because it is good but didn’t really help me learn how to pray for my daughter any better than I already am. A younger parent with young children would probably give this book a higher rating.
