Publisher Description

This is a sequel to the classic inspiring work of theology: Precious Gem in
the Tabernacle. In this book, the author reveals that the Old Testament
Tabernacle of Moses is actually a precursor to Jesus Christ's Sermon on the
Mount, which the author asserts is a blueprint for a spiritual tabernacle
that Christians must build in their hearts. Rev. Hicks ties these
tabernacles to King David's vision of spiritual growth as shown in the
119th Psalm.

This is one of the very few books (if not the only book) in circulation
that connects the principles of the Mosaic Tabernacle to Christ's life, to
the Sermon on the Mount, and to Kind David's spiritual vision. By analyzing
these patterns for spiritual growth in relation to the Courtyard of the
Judaic Tabernacle (the place that was open to all), the author lays out the
foundation for spiritual growth, which Christians need in order to achieve
a more perfect untion with Jesus Christ.

Keys to Spiritual Growth

This book beautifully presents parallel pictures portrayed in the Bible of growing in God, uniting both the Old Testament and the New Testament. Through thorough examination of the Mosaic Tabernacle, the writings of King David, the historical life and teachings of Jesus Christ, and the experiences offered to believers today, the author presents God's immutable plan to begin one's journey to reach the heights of spiritual maturity and growing ever-closer to Him.

The book emphasizes experiences based on a growing relationship with and awareness of God's involvement in our daily lives. Through this book, I have gained a broader picture of God's intentions for mankind, and this book has made Him to be more real in my life. This book is life changing and is beneficial for all believers that desire a clearer vision of God's Will for their lives.

Building blocks of Truth

To the seeker, there's nothing like diving into an awesome study of that which fascinates them to the very core of their being. The hidden truth of God's Holy Word pours off each page; this book was truly gripping.

Psalm 119, the longest chapter in the Bible, seemed to go unnoticed as a spectacular work. Hidden from the wise and prudent, little did one know that therein lay a secret: Psalm 119 paints a picture of growing in God.

King David is commonly known to the majority as a man of war, or for a time when he fell into sin; what isn't commonly known about King David is that he knew the secret of never forgetting who he was and Who God is. He never lost his awareness of being a servant to Almighty God. In following Christ, King David penned a most beautiful work, words that show fellow servants to hold onto our Faithful God's Hand, to stand up for what's right, to seek forgiveness when we've fallen short or messed up, to go beyond our own needs and weep over the pain that sin causes God's Heart, to desire others to seek to know God in His Goodness. In so doing, he revealed an awesome portrayal of the tabernacle in Psalm 119.

The book isn't solely about King David, but this is what struck this reader the most: David was a king, he was rich, he could have had everything the world had to offer, yet his hearts desire, as a humble servant, was to please Christ.

The author shows how beautifully the Old Testament Tabernacle of Moses not only is a foreshadowing of growing in Christ, but also how it fits beautifully together with King David's vision. God's Word is truly connected on so many different levels, and this book reveals some fascinating patterns that show Christians how to grow in Him.
