An Excellent Blue Print for a Life with Christ
I'm blown away at the minute detail to every tiny piece of material used in the entire Old Testament Tabernacle. There are so many awesome Biblical Truths in this "gem" of a book! It's the most comprehensive analysis of the Old Testament Tabernacle -- and why it's relevant to modern Christians that I have ever seen. The Mosaic Tabernacle is actually a foreshadow for the coming of Jesus Christ.
What's most striking to me is how the Word of God is a mirror for spiritual growth. In this book that is so clearly based on Scripture and goes back to the ancient, original, Hebrew meanings, I am able to see how I measure up to God's Word. This book shows everything, from being a beautiful tapestry where others clearly see the wonderful works God accomplishes in us, to being a tiny, hidden piece, that others don't notice, but that helps hold such great pillars in place. (The application there being support to those whom God places in positions above us, being content to be a hidden supporter.) I see so much room for improvement in my life, I want to fully grow up in the Measure of Christ's Stature!
I understand my spirtual growth
Reading this book is when I realized that God had higher heights and deeper realms of spiritual growth to reach in Him. Its all written out in the Old Testament Tabernacle. It's more than being saved, it's growing in God!
Applicable To My Daily Life
I have truly been blessed since reading this book! I had no idea that there are so many applicable truths for me hidden in the Old Testament Tabernacle! Reading the King James Version of the Bible was often confusing and hard to understand. But this book it shows me how to grow up and be like Jesus. It truly shows me how I, as a sinner, was nothing like Jesus, but through this book I can be repentant from what I have done and grow in Him! The author does an excellent job explaining how Jesus is in fact the Messiah and that Moses' Tabernacle was a foreshadowing of the Christ. It's a great read for any Christian wanting more spiritual growth, and I am eternally grateful to know how to reach the Father through our Lord Jesus Christ.
