“This proved to be a heartwarming tale…I loved that Alison Roberts included our main characters’ full range of emotions, doubts, and hopes for the future to make this a well-rounded story.”

Pregnant with Her Best Friend’s Baby
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
I read this in one sitting. This was such a heart-felt story. I loved the characters. Both Maggie and Joe were a great team at work calling themselves the "dream team". They were best friends. They could count on each other to have the other's back. There was nothing romantic to their relationship as Maggie dreamed of being married with 6 children. Joe on the other hand never wanted to get married much less have children.
The author really did a fantastic job in convoying Joe's reactions to Maggie's news of a baby. It was done in such a way that you could easily identify with and feel for him. I loved how the dual POVs really connected me, the reader, to the characters. I felt like I was there with them throughout their journey to a HEA.
I also thought the author did a fantastic job in the descriptions and technical terms of the emergencies the teams when on as they were "air ambulance paramedic(s)".
I highly recommend this story to anyone. It was a real treat to read.
